Christmas 2012

Christmas was great. Nice and relaxing with everyone at home. And, we actually got to sleep in! Emma had to be woken up at around 9 o'clock! And she did NOT want to get up. So funny!

We had orange cinnamon rolls for breakfast. They were a big hit! I think that just might become our new tradition.

And the the fun ensued! Presents were opened, toys played with, candy eaten, and memories made.

Emma and Spencer received tons of toys and clothes and games from the grandparents, and "Santa" brought his own gifts for them. Emma and Spencer had a blast playing together (didn't last long) and sharing candy with Mommy and Daddy.

Mommy got some great stuff and so did Daddy. But, my main focus was looking at my amazing family and how incredibly blessed we are. We are all healthy and happy. And we have everything we need. Especially the Gospel. Without it, who knows where we would all be.

I love the Christmas Season. I love my Savior and his ultimate sacrifice for me. One day out of the year always seems so insignificant a tribute to what he has done for the world. I hope to carry the Christmas Spirit around with me this year. Because, no matter what time of year it is, Jesus Christ is still there for me. Just like he will be there for me always.
