Christmas Eve 2012

Christmas Eve was wonderful. It was Spencer's first Christmas. I think he thoroughly enjoyed it. At least, all of the wrapping paper and boxes!

We took dinner to the sister missionaries and watched Mr. Kruger's Christmas. One of my all time favorite Christmas movies! And then we headed home for our own exciting traditions.

We started off reading Luke 2. I love sharing the true meaning of Christmas with my children. It always puts the night in the right frame of mind. We focus on Christ first- the Spirit is wonderful and we go to bed focused on the Lord. Which is wonderful. And, if asked, Emma will tell you that "Christmas is for Jesus!"

Then we each opened one gift.

Emma chose hers this year- it was a Barbie from Nana and Papa.

Spencer got Pajamas from Grandma and Grandpa. They are so soft and snuggly!

And I got a DVD double feature: What a Wonderful Life & White Christmas!

Then we went downstairs, watched White Christmas and headed to bed! It was an amazing night.

Bryan Anthony Campos

Bryan- 28 years old. The amazing head of our household. An amazing husband and father. And we are so grateful and blessed every day to have him in our lives! He is loving his job at Cabela's as a Project Manager II in the IT department. He is over all of the New Store Openings for the company! It has given him amazing travel experiences and fantastic adventures. It is helping him grow and is giving him more and more opportunities for advancement every day. He loves hunting, camping, playing with the kiddos and spending time at home with the family.

Emma Khristine Campos

Emma is such a big girl! She is 4 going on 30. And some days I just sit back and marvel at how truly amazing she is! She started preschool, and loves every second of it, and is sad on the days she can't go. She has learned so much and continues to mature and learn more and more each day. She loves her Savior, and knows he loves her. She loves to pray and ask questions about all things spiritual. She always wants to know about Heavenly Father and Jesus. I am so glad she has such a zealous desire to know all about the Gospel and what it means. I am so blessed to have such an amazing daughter. She is my joy- one of my favorite reasons for waking up in the morning.

Spencer Anthony Campos

Spencer is growing and growing, and GROWING. He is 2! Yes, I said TWO! He is not my little baby boy anymore. He is all boy. Dirt and mischief and a giant helping of love! He loves his sister unconditionally and tries every day to be just like her. He loves to ask questions, snuggle, and spend time with his Daddy. He follows Bryan around like a shadow. And, if he turns out to be half the man Bryan is, he will be amazing! I am so grateful to have such an amazing little child in my life! He is one of the greatest blessings I have ever been given!
